Your new role

This role encompasses conducting in-depth compensation analyses, structuring competitive salary frameworks, managing incentive programs, overseeing benefits administration, and ensuring adherence to local regulatory standards. Furthermore, the position requires close collaboration with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), business leaders, and global Total Rewards teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making and uphold equitable and market-aligned reward structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Compensation & Benefits Strategy: Conduct extensive research and analysis to design and implement total rewards programs, ensuring competitive salary structures, incentive frameworks, and market alignment.
  • Annual Compensation Review & Adjustment: Lead the administration of annual salary surveys, merit increase assessments, salary structure evaluations, and incentive plan execution.
  • Data-Driven Compensation Insights: Leverage advanced analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Workday to perform detailed compensation assessments, generate strategic reports, and provide actionable insights on pay competitiveness.
  • Job Classification & Standardisation: Maintain consistency in job grading structures, ensuring alignment and equity across the APAC region.
  • Employee Benefits Optimisation: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including provident funds and health insurance, while collaborating with external brokers to enhance cost-effectiveness and overall employee value propositions.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Continuously monitor changes in APAC labour laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Finance teams, vendor management professionals, and global Total Rewards Shared Services teams aboard.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive Experience in Total Rewards Management: Over seven years of expertise in Compensation & Benefits within multinational organisations, with a strong focus on the APAC region.

  • Advanced Data Analysis Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in leveraging Excel, Power BI, and HRIS platforms, with a preference for Workday, to conduct complex compensation analyses and generate insightful reports.

  • Comprehensive Job Evaluation Knowledge: Well-versed in the Mercer IPE job evaluation methodology, ensuring consistency and accuracy in organisational job grading structures.

  • Strategic Collaboration with Global Stakeholders: Skilled in engaging with international HR teams and business leaders to drive effective total rewards strategies and initiatives.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with strong articulation and business communication abilities; proficiency in an additional APAC language is advantageous.

  • Results-Oriented and Detail-Focused: A meticulous and analytical approach to problem-solving, coupled with a commitment to achieving impactful outcomes.
