Our client is a leading multinational automotive manufacturing company with a global presence. The company is currently looking for a talented General Ledger Accountant (Senior Officer/Asst. Manager/Manager) to join the team.

Responsibilities: As a General Ledger Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Month-End Closing (Full-Cycle): Handle all aspects of month-end closing, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports and analyse financial data to provide recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with counterparts overseas to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist in tax-related activities and gather necessary tax documents.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Accounting
  • 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience
  • Fluent in English/Japanese
  • Experience with SAP
  • Full-loop month-end closing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under time pressure
