International Logistics company is seeking a dedicated and seasoned professional to lead our safety initiatives and contribute to the well-being of our team and operations.


Your new role

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies to ensure a secure working environment in logistics, with a focus on best practices from hard manufacturing, construction, and crane operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety practices seamlessly into daily operations.
  • Provide training and education programs to promote a safety culture and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay updated on industry safety standards, regulations, and emerging trends.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in your role, you would need to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience as a Safety Manager in logistics, heavy construction or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard recognition, and risk management.
  • Experience working in hard manufacturing, construction, or crane operations is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
