Your new role
You’ll be responsible for managing the implementation of Global Quality and Food Safety standards to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This includes overseeing internal audit programs, CAPA, and change management processes related to new products, equipment, or processes. You’ll also manage third-party certification audits, lead continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) management programs. Additionally, you’ll conduct incident investigations, provide technical expertise, and lead site or regional communities of practice in areas such as auditing and food safety. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing global standards, leading gap assessments, and managing external audit programs, while building cross-functional partnerships to achieve business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Possess an associate’s degree in fields such as Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Food Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline, along with relevant internship experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a food plant in a role focused on food safety or quality, or a combination of education and over 7 years of proven success in relevant manufacturing or quality roles.
- Proven expertise in identifying and managing food safety risks, including HACCP and prerequisite controls.
- Experience in auditing GFSI Quality Systems such as FSSC22000 or ISO9000.
- Proficient in applying quality tools, food science, and statistics.
- Knowledgeable in GMP, GLP, pest control, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
