We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven HR Business Partner with expertise in Compensation & Benefits to join our client, a leading player in the automotive industry. This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a results-oriented mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of compensation and benefits strategies.
Your new role
As an HR Business Partner specialising in Compensation & Benefits, you will provide consultation and support to designated business units. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that the company's compensation and benefits offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's goals and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain a comprehensive compensation strategy and structure that ensures internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure the organisation remains competitive.
- Develop and manage salary structures, job classifications, and pay policies.
- Oversee the development and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Evaluate and negotiate with benefit providers to secure the best terms and options for employees.
- Develop and enforce policies related to compensation and benefits to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company standards.
- Monitor legislative changes that impact compensation and benefits and update policies as necessary.
- Conduct job evaluations and salary surveys to maintain competitive compensation practices.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve compensation and benefits practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in HR, with expertise in compensation and benefits strategic roles, and at least 3 years in a strategic business partner role.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, policies, and legal requirements.
- Experience with HRIS and other HR-related systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience in setting up and implementing comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies.
- Good command of English.
