Your new role

You'll manage a qualified team of buyers with varying levels of experience and oversee a group or category of products, utilising digital tools to optimise delivery and quality performance while effectively managing costs and minimising risks. You are responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement & material management process for the purchase of direct and indirect materials and services and fostering productive relationships with suppliers, including establishing the brand and value of the procurement team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in implementing category procurement.

• Robust knowledge of Spend Analysis, and Contract Life Cycle Management

• Strong business & commercial acumen with sound critical thinking

• Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with leadership capability

• Familiar with digital transformation strategies
