Engineering Manager

You will be working for a reputable market-leader and a trusted global partner for comprehensive turnkey manufacturing solutions for the industrial instruments & equipment, specialising in providing innovative manufacturing processes and technologies developed in collaborate with their prestigious customers to drive the industry forwards. With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in their field, they are seeking an accountable and outstanding Engineering Manager to be based at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chonburi.

Your new role

You will manage a qualified team of engineers with varying levels of experience and oversee the engineering department's daily operations & the strategies from liaising with the customers, new product introduction, process development, manufacturing & engineering, commercial production, improvements & implementation to maintenance. Furthermore, you will be the key point of contract for internal & external stakeholders. Reviewing and coordinating the workload across your team will be a constant in this role, as well as your ability to lead, develop, and mentor the team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive manufacturing experience with strong engineering principles including design & development, manufacturing, to maintenance from any industry of automotive, electronics, medical devices, or automation & equipment
  • Robust business & operational acumen with sound critical thinking
  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with leadership capability and the ability to coach and develop the team
  • Abilities to manage multiple priorities, projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
