In lieu of this growth trajectory, they are looking for a seasoned finance professional to go on this journey with them and transform their Finance & Accounting team.

Your new role

In this senior leadership position, you will directly impact the business by utilising your experience and knowledge of finance and accounting to ensure the country’s business remains in good financial health. You will be tasked to ensure professional, accurate, and timely reporting and forecasting to ensure it aligns with the group’s policies. You are required to be hands-on in leading the finance transformation agenda and ensuring the profit line remains upwards of healthy. You will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders pertaining to all accounting matters and providing training to your team leaders whenever necessary. Lastly, you will be working closely with the Managing Director to derive strategies for achieving long-term profitability and influencing the long-term direction of the group. Furthermore, it is expected that you contribute to the growth of the business through coming up with innovative plans, thus forming your legacy in the company.

What you'll need to succeed

Technical finance and accounting capability at a high level is essential, combined with communication and people management skills:

• 15 or more years of experience of doing end-to-end Finance and Accounting in a reputable multinational corporation
• Exposure to working in the B2C, FMCG, and/or Retail industry will be critical to your success in this role
• Prior experience in finance transformation and/or process improvement would be an added advantage
• Confidence and ability to work in a global environment and matrix reporting line would be crucial
