Legal & Compliance Counsel

A leading multinational manufacturing company is looking for legal and compliance counsel.

Your new company

A leading multinational manufacturing company with a strong presence across ASEAN, operating four plants and a corporate office. The organisation is expanding its legal and compliance team in Thailand to support strategic growth and ensure regulatory alignment.

Your new role

As Legal & Compliance Counsel, you will be a key member of the Global Legal, Business Integrity, and Government Affairs team. You will provide legal support to the Thailand business, focusing on commercial operations, procurement, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Provide legal advice to senior management and cross-functional teams to support business strategy and ensure compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including supply, distribution, procurement, and manufacturing agreements.
  • Manage disputes and claims in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead compliance training and policy implementation, including anti-bribery and PDPA.
  • Monitor legal developments and communicate relevant updates to the business.
  • Support government affairs and corporate governance initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external counsel as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in law and licenced to practice in Thailand.
  • 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally a mix of law firm and in-house roles.
  • Experience in the manufacturing, FMCG, or food & beverage sectors is a plus.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills in both Thai and English.
  • Ability to travel domestically (once every two months to one of four plants).
