Your new role

As the Head of Quality, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality control and assurance activities within the new plant. You will lead the implementation of quality systems across all stages of production, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve managing the departmental workforce, coaching, and monitoring team performance, and working closely with external suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related issues. You will also hold authority to release products and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in quality control and assurance within the canned food or pet food industry
• Strong understanding of GHPs, HACCP, BRC, DLD and ISO22000 standards
• Proven leadership, problem-solving abilities, and capability to work under pressure
