Your New Role
As Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing and supplier development for a diverse range of direct materials. You will lead initiatives focused on supplier negotiation, localization, and cost-saving strategies, particularly within high-mix, low-volume production environments. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, executing cost reduction programs, and supporting new product development through effective sourcing strategies. This role requires a proactive leader who can influence cross-functional teams and ensure supply continuity for smooth factory operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Commodity Manager or Procurement Manager in mechanical industries (e.g., machinery, equipment manufacturing)
- Strong background in sourcing, supplier negotiation, localization, and cost-saving initiatives
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic supplier relationships and leading cross-regional procurement programs
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; fluency in English is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
