We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing insurance team. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and tailored insurance solutions.
Your new role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends
- Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and product teams to develop customised solutions
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management (preferably in insurance or financial services)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client accounts
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
