Legal Manager

A leading engineering company in Thailand is looking for a lawyer to take on a contract-focused role.

Your new company

A leading construction firm is seeking a legally minded and detail-oriented lawyer to support its local and international operations. This role is ideal for candidates with strong English communication skills and experience in construction or real estate law—particularly in reviewing, drafting, and managing construction agreements. You will work closely with a team of contract engineers to ensure legal compliance and clarity in all contractual matters.

Your new role

  • Review and interpret international construction contracts to ensure legal accuracy and risk mitigation.
  • Draft contract clauses and amendments in line with legal standards and company policies.
  • Provide legal insights and recommendations to engineering teams regarding contract terms and obligations.
  • Support negotiations with international clients and partners from a legal perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain organised legal documentation and contract records.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Graduated bachelor's degree in law or higher.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Background in construction/real estate is highly preferred.
  • Experience in reviewing and drafting construction contracts or similar legal documents.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team.
  • Open to travel to the construction site.
