Your new role

The Equipment Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the equipment team, ensuring the efficient management, maintenance, and deployment of equipment and tools. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing best practices to optimise equipment usage and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the equipment team to ensure timely and effective support.

  • Manage equipment inventory, tracking usage, maintenance schedules, and lifecycle.

  • Coordinate equipment procurement, deployment, and retirement processes.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast equipment needs and resolve issues.

  • Train team members on equipment handling, maintenance, and safety protocols.

  • Monitor performance metrics and generate reports for management review.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and safety standards.
  • English Proficiency
