Sales Director

You’ll be part of an incredibly dynamic team within a leading FMCG company.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our business. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing the sales team, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales management, particularly in General Trade. Experience with modern trade (MT) is a plus. The Sales Director will oversee the Head of General Trade and the Head of Modern Trade.

Your new role:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
  • Oversee the Head of General Trade and the Head of Modern Trade, providing guidance and support.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate these markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive experience in general trade; experience with modern trade (MT) is a plus.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thai nationality is required.
