Assistant HR Manager

Our Global Manufacturing Company is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team.

A well-established manufacturer based in Central Thailand has been producing high-quality metal packaging, such as aluminium beverage cans, and tinplate cans. The company serves both local and international markets across the beverage, food, and consumer goods sectors. Known for its durability, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence, it functions as part of a major U.S.-headquartered global packaging group with operations in over 40 countries, offering a wide range of metal packaging solutions and emphasising innovation and environmental responsibility.

Your new role

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organisation.

Talent Management

  • Support performance management cycles, including goal-setting, evaluations, and feedback sessions.

  • Assist in succession planning and career development initiatives to retain top talent.

  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems to track talent metrics.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and organisational effectiveness.

  • Identify learning needs and partner with external vendors or internal teams to provide relevant development opportunities.

  • Monitor training outcomes and continuously improve learning initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer compensation programs, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks and internal equity.

  • Manage employee benefits enrolment, enquiries, and vendor relationships.

  • Support annual salary reviews and incentive programs in collaboration with finance and leadership.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring timely and fair resolution of issues.

  • Promote a positive work environment through engagement initiatives and policy enforcement.

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies, and support audits or investigations as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws and regulations.
  • Manufacturing background is required.
  • Excellent communication skills in Thai and English, with a TOEIC score of 550 or higher.
