Our client is a leading food service operator in Asia. Seeking a Finance Analyst to join their high-performing finance team. In this role, you will support strategic decision-making by delivering financial insights, conducting variance analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving performance reporting across key business units.
Your new role
- Drive the end-to-end process for P&L preparation, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning.
- Monitor business performance and provide data-driven insights to improve profitability and optimise resource allocation.
- Analyse key cost elements such as operational costs, repair & maintenance, and other income streams to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Partner closely with sales, operations, and marketing teams to align financial plans with business objectives and key initiatives.
- Deliver financial support for business cases, scenario modelling, and ad-hoc analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Lead loss store performance reviews and contribute to area performance reviews and strategic planning discussions.
- Develop and enhance financial dashboards and reports to support decision-making
- Ensure reporting accuracy and efficiency through the use of Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other tools.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews to management.
- Support cross-functional projects with financial modelling, reporting, and presentations tailored to key stakeholders.
- Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to initiatives focused on cost control, process improvement, and value creation.
- Utilise financial systems and BI platforms to manage data and drive financial reporting excellence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- At least 8 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or related functions.
- Strong skills in financial modelling, variance analysis, and data interpretation.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and ERP such as Oracle or SAP.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Fluent in English
