• Formulate and execute legal strategies and plans that support the organization’s objectives, including drafting legal documents, negotiating contracts, resolving disputes, and advising senior management on legal matters.
• Direct and supervise the legal and compliance teams to ensure the organization’s activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and governance standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for managing legal risks to prevent potential issues arising from the organization’s operations.
• Cultivate a culture of transparency and accountability within the organization by advocating for legal compliance and robust governance practices.
• Efficiently manage and oversee the department’s operational budget.
• Offer legal counsel and guidance in the drafting and review of contracts related to the organization’s business activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• At least 20 years of legal experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Significant experience in corporate governance, compliance, IPO.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic advisory skills.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment working with senior executives.
