With this opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in steering Accounting Operations to develop internal financial and accounting workflow and process improvement by engaging in internal control, accounting system, financial statement, financial report, and tax report presentation to senior stakeholders. You will be a key-driven person to shape the entire accounting and financial standard in deploying group policy to local offices.
Your new role
- Supervise the preparation of accounts and verify the accuracy of the company’s periodic account closures in accordance with established practices.
- Supervise and manage the accounting internal control system to ensure its effectiveness.
- Oversee the accounting system to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare financial statements and accounting reports according to the company's accounting standards and designated reporting periods.
- Prepare financial reports, financial statement supplements, and performance analysis summaries to support management decisions.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for submission to HQ and/or relevant authorities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Plan, oversee, and review all types of tax reporting and other reports for submission to relevant government agencies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and other applicable regulations within the specified timeframe.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to accounting staff to develop their skills and abilities.
- Perform as mentioned above for the company, including related companies and subsidiaries (if any).
- Other assigned duties.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting with at least 3 years in any Big 4 Audit firm (experience in the hire-purchase business will be given special consideration).
- Have the CPA certificate and a certificate.
- Strong ability to analyse financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Thai Accounting Standards (TAS), and Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS).
- Have an understanding of legal and tax regulations.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively under high pressure.
