Your new role

As a critical and dynamic team leader, you will be the architect of strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and resource allocation within your remit to shape and drive the logistics and warehouse department, including crafting and implementing strategic plans, setting goals, and formulating policies to guide the team. This role is not just about internal operations, but it is about representing the company on a broader stage. Your interactions will be extended to customers and executives involving negotiations and influencing stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and logistics operations, and knowledge of best practices in warehouse layout, inventory control, and order fulfilment

• Familiarity with local and international regulations governing logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations, risk factors and mitigation strategies

• Analytical and critical-thinking skills to address complex challenges and implement effective solutions

• Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

• Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams, executives, customers, and external partners
