A highly prominent private equity firm is currently looking to expand their portfolio management team. This firm has a strong presence in the Southeast Asia market and has a strong portfolio of companies under them.

Your new role

As part of the portfolio management team, you will play a pivotal role in post-transaction activities, serving as a strategic advisor and thought-partner to C-suite executives. You and the team will aim to drive performance and organisational health initiatives. Your responsibilities will also extend to potentially leading or co-managing third-party consulting teams during engagements with portfolio companies. You will be instrumental in formulating and leading transformation programs, business turnaround strategies, and investment strategies with a focus on Commercial Excellence. Your expertise in digital marketing will be highly valued as you spearhead major business initiatives and projects, sharing knowledge and enhancing capabilities within the investment group and portfolio companies. Pre-transaction support is equally critical, as you may be assisting the investment team with commercial due diligence, focusing on top-line growth, strategic, and management matters, and crafting 100-day plans.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5–7 years of experience in management consulting, transformation, or private equity

• Commercial excellence experience such as salesforce effectiveness, performance management, pricing, portfolio optimization will be critical to your success

• Highly proactive and able to deliver tailored strategies to portfolio companies

• Strong stakeholder management skills (upwards and lateral)

• Proven track record in delivering initiatives successfully
